Helen L. Fedor (Secretary) - Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, Baltimore

I received my Bachelor degree in Biology from Purdue University 1982 and then started a career in histology by working in an Electron Microscopy Laboratory at IUPUI. Since that time I have held a various positrons in the field in medical research laboratories.  I now have 25 years of experience in the field of histology, in a broad array of disciplines including, Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Uro-pathology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Electron Microscopy, Histology, and Stereology, Database development and TMA.

At Present I work in the Laboratory of Dr. Angelo DeMarzo, Pathology/Urology/Oncology. I am the manager of the JHU Prostate Bio-repository as well as the Tissue Microarray Laboratory (TMA). At Johns Hopkins Hospital 1000 Radical Prostatectomies are done every year. We are involved in the Clinical Trials for the intervention treatment for prostate cancer. I have given workshops on TMA for MSH, NJSH, and NSH.  Passionately interested in the field of Histology.
